Issey Miyake Fusion d'Issey Extrême Eau de Toilette 100ml is the warmer, more sensual flanker to the 2020 Fusion d'Issey original, launched in 2021. Composed by master perfumer Nathalie Lorson, it pairs an aromatic-spicy opening of cardamom and bergamot with a heart of coconut, mint, lavender and solar mineral notes, finishing on a creamy base of sandalwood and patchouli. The result is a modern aromatic-fougère with a sun-baked, beach-volcanic edge.
About Issey Miyake
Issey Miyake is the Japanese fashion house founded by the celebrated designer of the same name in 1970, known for technically innovative garment construction and pleated couture. The fragrance line — produced under the Beauté Prestige International / Puig group — launched in 1992 with L'Eau d'Issey and has built its identity around clean, minimalist, water-and-light themed compositions. The Fusion d'Issey chapter introduced a more sun-warmed, volcanic-stone interpretation of that aesthetic.

Who it's for
Fusion d'Issey Extrême suits men drawn to warm, sun-soaked aromatic fragrances rather than cool aquatic or sweet sport-style ones. It is at its best in spring through early autumn — warm enough to come alive in summer, refined enough for evening wear in cooler months. If you wear Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk, Bvlgari Aqua, or Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Intense, Fusion d'Issey Extrême sits comfortably alongside them with a more coconut-forward signature.
How to use
- Spray onto clean, moisturised skin from around 15 cm away.
- Apply to pulse points — neck, throat, behind the ears and inner wrists.
- Two sprays of an EDT is plenty; the coconut-sandalwood drydown projects warmly.
- For a longer trail in warm weather, mist lightly onto a cotton T-shirt or shirt collar.
Size: 100ml — the standard everyday format, presented in Issey Miyake's signature angular sculpted glass flacon evoking a stone fragment.
