Acqua di Parma Colonia Futura Eau de Cologne 100ml is the sustainability-led modern chapter of the maison's iconic 1916 Colonia — launched in 2020 and formulated from 99% naturally-derived ingredients. A bright citrus opening of lemon, bergamot, grapefruit and pink pepper gives way to a clean aromatic heart of lavender and sage, settling on a refined vetiver base. The same Italian elegance as the original Colonia, reimagined for the next century.
About Acqua di Parma
Acqua di Parma was founded in 1916 in a small laboratory in Parma's historic centre, beginning with the original Colonia — a lighter, fresher alternative to the heavy Germanic colognes that dominated European perfumery at the time. The house joined the LVMH group in 2001 and remains entirely Italian-made. The Colonia Futura chapter extends that century-old DNA into a more sustainably-produced, natural-leaning composition without losing the brand's signature elegance.

Who it's for
Colonia Futura is unisex by design and suits anyone drawn to refined citrus-aromatic colognes over loud sweet or heavy oriental fragrances. It is at its best in spring and summer, ideal for office and daytime wear, weekends and warm-weather travel. Wearers of the original Acqua di Parma Colonia, 4711 Original Eau de Cologne or Atelier Cologne Cédrat Enivrant will find familiar territory here with a more vetiver-anchored drydown.
How to use
- Spray onto clean, moisturised skin from around 15 cm away.
- Apply generously to pulse points — neck, throat, behind the ears, inner wrists and inner elbows.
- Reapply through the day as desired; eau de cologne is intentionally a light concentration, and reapplication is part of the traditional cologne ritual.
- For a longer scent trail, mist lightly onto a cotton shirt or linen jacket.
Size: 100ml. Presented in Acqua di Parma's signature minimalist Art Deco yellow-and-cream packaging, with a lightweight wood-finish cap that nods to the brand's commitment to sustainability.
