Bvlgari Man In Black Eau de Parfum 100ml is a bold, smoky oriental for men, launched in 2014 by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. Inspired by the myth of Vulcan, the Roman god of fire and the forge, the fragrance opens on dark spices, rum and tobacco, develops a refined leather-and-floral heart of iris and tuberose, and dries down on a warm, addictive base of tonka bean, guaiac wood and benzoin — confident, charismatic and unmistakably grown-up.
About Bvlgari
Bvlgari is an Italian luxury house founded in Rome in 1884 as a jewellery atelier by Sotirio Bulgari, and now part of the LVMH group. The house began producing fragrances in 1992 and has built one of the most respected fine-fragrance ranges in luxury, particularly through long-running collaborations with Alberto Morillas. Man In Black sits at the dark, smoky end of the Bvlgari Man family, distinct from the lighter Aqva and Glacial chapters.

Who it's for
Man In Black suits men who want a confident, evening-leaning signature with serious projection — date nights, dinners and going out are its natural setting. The leather-tobacco-rum opening reads as masculine and grown-up, while the tonka-benzoin drydown gives it warmth and depth. Best in autumn and winter, when the spicy resinous base develops most clearly.
How to use
- Spray onto pulse points — the base of the neck, behind the ears and on the wrists — from around 15 cm away.
- Apply sparingly; the EDP projects strongly.
- For evening wear, add a single mist to a jacket lapel rather than rubbing into the skin.
