About Lalique
Lalique was founded in 1888 by René Lalique, the visionary French jeweller and glassmaker whose Art Nouveau and Art Deco creations made him one of the great names of decorative arts. The house began producing perfume bottles for other perfumers from the 1900s onwards and launched its own perfume line in 1992. Lalique fragrances are known for their hand-crafted crystal flacons and unhurried, classical compositions; the Amethyst bottle echoes the deep violet hue of the gem it is named after.
