Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Rose Extraordinaire Eau de Parfum 100ml is the 2024 rose-led chapter of Lancôme's mega-pillar La Vie Est Belle. Co-created by Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, it builds an opulent rose accord from three different rose extracts — fresh rose water, sensual damascena absolute and a "space rose" accord — woven with iris concrete and grounded in ambroxan, sandalwood, woods and musk.

The story behind Rose Extraordinaire
Lancôme has invested heavily in its Domaine de la Rose, an organic estate in Grasse dedicated to studying centifolia and damask rose varieties for perfumery. Rose Extraordinaire was conceived as a tribute to that work, built around three different rose extracts intended to capture different facets of the flower — the dewy freshness of rose water, the rich plush absolu of damascena, and a high-tech "space rose" accord that adds modern brightness. Iris concrete in the heart adds a buttery softness.

How to wear it
Spray onto pulse points — wrists, behind the ears, the base of the throat — from around 15 cm away, and add one mist to clothing for a longer trail. As an Eau de Parfum, expect strong projection in the first one to two hours and a soft, polished rose-and-musk skin scent that lingers eight hours or more.
